Asthma Foundations of Australia is an association of all the Asthma Foundations throughout Australia, and aims to eliminate asthma as a major cause of ill health and disruption within the community. This site includes resources relating to asthma in children available for download and provides links to Asthma Foundations in all states.

Child Care NSW is the peak body for privately owned children’s services in NSW and supports operators of privately owned children’s services. In addition to information about the association and memberships benefits, the site provides a calendar of seminars, conferences and other events for owners and potential owners, and specific information about Occupational Health & Safety requirements and on line training provided by Child Care NSW.

Children’s Services Central is operated by an alliance of NSW children’s services peak and training organisations and is the Department of Family & Community Services and Indigenous Affairs Professional Support Co-ordinator for NSW. It provides subsidised professional support and training to Australian government approved children’s services and Inclusion Support Facilitators in NSW. The site contains information on the services available including the training calendar, the general resource library with an online database and publications available for download, sector information for all different types of eligible children’s services, and media articles on the current state of child care in NSW.

Children's Youth & Women's Health is a South Australian health service promoting the health, well-being and development of children, young people and families and committed to providing health & parenting information based on the latest research and best practice. The site has a large section on Parenting and Child Health and provides information for downloading on a wide rage of topics, grouped by family relationships, growth & development, healthy lifestyle, nutrition, infections and immunisations, illnesses and health problems, safety and first aid and disabilities. Also includes a 'for kids only' section on children's health for the 6 - 12 year olds.

Community Child Care Co-operative provides resources and training for long day care centres and advocates for community based children’s services in NSW. The CCCC site provides information about the organisation, the training it delivers (including the training calendar), and the various resources (including Rattler and Broadside) and fact sheets it produces, most available to down load.

The Department of Community Services is the leading NSW government agency responsible for community services, with a particular focus on promoting the safety and well being of children and young people and building stronger families and communities. The web site has a broad range of information under the headings ‘parenting, child care, for young people, protecting children, foster care, adoption and communities’, material about the department and its operation, links to many related organisations and a lage range of information sheets and publications to download (including information about all aspects of establishing and licensing a child care service and the NSW Curriculum Framework.)

Diabetes Australia is a national organisation whose purpose is to mimimise the impact of diabetes and to assist its member organizations around the country in achieving this. In addition to information about the organisation and its operations, the website contains information sheets about many aspects of diabetes, including information in a range of community languages and the option of seeing the site in a larger font.

Diabetes Australia NSW is a state based charity dealing with people who have diabetes – its aim is to prevent and find a cure for diabetes and it carries out awareness raising, education, research and advocacy. Early Childhood Australia is the national peak early childhood advocacy organisation acting in the interests of young children, families and those in the early childhood field. The Early Childhood Road Safety Education Program is part of the NSW Roads & Traffic Authority’s Youth, Community & Education Program. Its aim is to increase awareness of the need for road safety in staff, families and children, to promote developmentally appropriate practice in regards to road safety among staff working in children’s services and early childhood students and for children to be given consistent messages about road safety. The site contains a wide range of relevant information in various forms – fact sheets, questions and answers and resources to order. Kids and Traffic resources are free to all licensed NSW children’s services.

Epilepsy Action is a trademark of The Epilepsy Association. In addition to providing general information about epilepsy, its treatment, first aid, articles on topics such as epilepsy and learning and possible seizure triggers and information on workshops and education evenings run by Epilepsy Action Australia; the site contains a section specifically directed to children with epilepsy which covers concerns children might have and gives links to sites that contain games and fun learning activities about epilepsy for children.

Ethnic Child Care, Family and Community Services Co-operative Limited works for access and equity and multiculturalism in children’s, aged and disability services. This site contains information on the organisation and its range of services including the Families First South East Sydney Region Cultural and Linguistic Diversity in Children’s Services, and the Bicultural Support Pool which provides support workers to support the inclusion of Indigenous children and children of cultural and linguistic diversity in Australian Government approved children’s services.

Healthy Start is a nationwide strategy to support parents with learning difficulties and promote a healthy start to life for their young children. It is a joint project of the Australian Supported Parenting Consortium funded by the Australian Government’s Early Childhood Invest to Grow Initiative under the Stronger Families & Communities Initiative. The site includes information about parent and practitioner education resources, training and learning hubs around Australia and how to go about joining the network. It also has a database where it is possible to search for resources relating to parents with learning or developmental disabilities.

The Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Division of General Practice works to improve the health of the community through the support and enhancement of general practice in the area. Through the Families First GP Project the HKGDP has developed the on line GP Community & Health Resource Directory to enhance GP knowledge of resources and services that are available to support families with young children. The Inclusion Support Program is the Federal Government program that supplies children’s services with practical advice and support in including children with additional needs into a quality child care environment. 18 Inclusion Support Agencies (ISA’s) are funded in NSW to work directly with children’s services to provide practical advice and facilitate access to a range of supports designed to build services’ capacity to create a quality care environment inclusive of all children.

KU Children’s Services is a major provider of child care and education services. The National Child Care Accreditation Council is the body established by the Australian Government to administer the quality assurance systems which are linked to receipt of Child Care Benefit in approved long day care centres, family day care and outside school hour care services.
