3. Commonwealth Funding
A) Department of Education, Training, Youth Affairs Intervention
Support Program - Young Children with Disabilities
- For children
with disabilities aged birth to six years
- Eligible services
to apply: Pre-schools; non-profit community-based Long
Day Care Centres; legally incorporated
organisations

B) Department of Family and Community Services - Supplementary
Workers Program (SUPS)
- All Commonwealth funded child-care services
are eligible
- This includes: Long Day Care Centres; Out
of School Hours Services; Family Day Care; Vacation Care;
Occasional
Care
Centres
C) Department of Family and Community Services - Special
Needs Subsidy Scheme (SNSS)
- For children with ongoing high
support needs attending one of the above Commonwealth
funded services.
- Funding given based on individual applications
